Ms. Emma Designs was established by Sofia Verna in 1973 in Toronto, Canada.

The main idea behind Ms. Emma Designs is to produce handcrafted women’s clothing using unusual and precious fabrics which meet the highest criteria of elegance and comfort.

A rich assortment of hand-painted silks by local artists, sumptuous saris from India and hand-woven blankets, together with fine knits in cotton, linen and wool from Italy, form the basis for our creations.

The use of patchwork and embroidery in our one-of-a-kind pieces adds another artistic dimension to our collection.

In our studio in Italy, we produce an unusual and original assortment of necklaces, earrings, bracelets and pins using semi-precious stones and glass beads from Murano (Venice).

Our purses and belts in exquisite leathers are hand made by Italian artisans and offer today’s woman unique items and pieces that are both practical and elegant.
